Kitchen fires don’t just stay in the kitchen…

This home started with a kitchen fire that quickly spread, scorching the front of the house and sending smoke and soot throughout every room. What looks like “just smoke” can actually cause serious damage—penetrating walls, ceilings, and even structural materials.

Our team completed a full contents pack-out to protect and restore salvageable items, then began the heavy work—gutting the home to properly address the widespread smoke damage. One of the most telling signs of extreme heat? The “alligator skin” texture left behind on the roof decking and joists—where the wood surface cracks and bubbles from intense exposure.
