Hello,
My name is Andrew Preston, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and a new venture for my family and me, Iron & Root Land Co.
We started Iron & Root with a simple goal: to bring a dependable, hardworking excavation and land management company to our Northwest Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We want to serve our neighbors with integrity, humility, and a genuine desire to improve the properties and projects entrusted to us.
A little about myself and my professional background:
I spent six years working in the trucking parts and service industry before beginning a career in the railroad industry. It was there that I discovered just how much I enjoyed operating heavy equipment and working outdoors. Over the years, I gained experience in right-of-way management, ditching and drainage, washout repairs, storm cleanup, new rail construction, grade crossing work, slope and erosion management, as well as derailment recovery and repair.
While I truly enjoyed that side of the railroad, I eventually returned to a fleet service position and went back to turning wrenches so I could be more present with my growing family. Even though my career shifted, my passion for operating machinery, working with my hands, and improving things for myself and others never went away.
That passion is what ultimately led to Iron & Root Land Co.
Today, we’re proud to offer driveway and ditch work, culvert installation, land clearing, basic excavation, grading, drainage work, and much more. Whether it’s a small project around your property or a larger job that needs some experience and equipment behind it, we want to be a company you can count on.
