This project has been in the queue for a while. The original plan was to build a concrete block retaining wall to stabilize the soil adjacent to the building and fuel tanks. Unfortunately, the property line didn’t allow that. I developed an alternative solution to maintain the slope but also definitively stabilize the soil on this slope.

Getting all of the grass and loose soil made it look remarkably better, but getting the rock in place sure put the cherry on top.

I’m thankful for the work on this project and also thankful for the efficiency Kelley Trucking provided with getting aggregate on site.

8️⃣ Years in business today! There have certainly been an abundance of changes surrounding what exactly that we do in that time! A huge thank you to the past, present, and future support of my small business.

I employed a multi-faceted approach to implement the first round of w**d and brush control for this customer. Part of this land was once farmed and another part put up as hay, however these areas have been stagnant for several years which allowed noxious w**ds and brush to begin invasion. In addition, a fire caused a considerable amount of trees to burn and fall, impeding the ability to access areas of the property. A breakdown on the brush mower caused a minor setback, but all is well now. Here’s the punch list:

✅Piled burnt brush and trees with skid loader & grapple
✅Mowed areas of intense overgrowth with Skid loader brush mower
✅Applied herbicide to begin eradication of invasive noxious w**ds

Next year will require another herbicide application to continue the process of eradication, but this property owner is on the right path to improving the functionality of her property.

A little cut and fill action from yesterday. Water had previously intruded into this home during heavy rains due to the grade of their yard.

I went in and graded the soil away from the house, cut a swale to allow the water to flow properly, and added onto the existing terrace to direct the majority of surface water around the home.

I used the mini ex to cut/grade adjacent to the house then used the skid loader with my ripper and bucket to rough grade then finished everything off with the Harley Rake.

There’s not a lot of appeal in regard to water line repair photos, but they’re sure handy to have. I regularly repair leaks and strive to ensure that I have parts on the truck to make those repairs. Over time, I’ve been cognizant of necessary parts required and am diligent about restocking those parts.

Last Saturday I was able to supply and assist with a leaking bury hydrant then repaired a water leak Monday morning before the sun came up. I cannot guarantee 24/7 availability, but I strive to respond to leaks as quickly as possible.

I’ve got several water line/livestock water projects coming up. I’d love to feature your project as well!
