Green peanuts coming in by truck go into a dump pit that transfers them to drying trailers. These are whole lot cleaner than yesterdays. Seems the farmer had put some new bars, backward, into his picker.

Peanuts brought to us in trucks get the extra benefit of being screened for trash and dirt before going into a drying trailer.

Lots of peanuts coming in today. Had to wait for the wet weather to stop, then wait for the vines to dry out and then get in there and start picking! Making good time but long way to go and supposed to rain this weekend! Rain go away!

Peanuts coming in pretty good now. Little darker hulls but meat is good. BUT! These peanuts are full of peanut vines or hay. Hay stops up the flow of the peanuts and hand labor is necessary to make 'em move!
