That tutorial video made it look easy.

We get it. A few missing shingles doesn't seem like a big deal until the patch job traps water underneath and the damage spreads to the decking. By the time it shows up on your ceiling, you're not paying for a repair anymore. You're paying for a replacement.

Your roof needs to breathe.

Every day, warm moist air rises into your attic from showers, cooking, and laundry. With nowhere to go, it soaks the decking, ruins insulation, and cooks your shingles from underneath.
