🎨 October 2026 Exterior Color of the Month: Cobble Brown (SW 6082)

October in Colorado has a look all its own! As the landscape shifts into deeper, richer shades, Cobble Brown felt like the perfect color to highlight this month.

There’s something about a classic brown exterior that feels especially fitting this time of year. We paired Cobble Brown with Pacer White and Rookwood Red for a palette inspired by the season, but one that will look beautiful well beyond this fall!

Would you choose Cobble Brown for your home’s exterior? 🤎

🏡🎨 Project Palette

There’s a little more to this palette than meets the eye! Along with Quinoa on the stucco body, Fiery Brown along the roofline and garage, and Portobello on the batten boards and peaks, this home features two additional colors that help bring the whole exterior together.

Soft Fawn SW 9097 carries across the horizontal siding, while Toile Red SW 0006 adds that rich pop of color to the lower trim. Together, all five shades create a warm palette that works beautifully with this home.

We love how much character this color combination brings to the exterior!

💛📋 Meet Our Project Manager

Hi, I’m Kiara!

As a Project Manager for Luxor, I’m your go-to person once your project gets underway. You’ll see me at your home throughout the production process, checking in with our crews, overseeing quality control, and keeping you informed along the way.

I’ve always had an eye for detail, which comes in handy because details are a big part of what I do! I’m there to make sure nothing gets overlooked, our fantastic crews have what they need, and the expectations set at the beginning of your project are carried through from start to finish.

I’m also Alexis’s sister, so getting to work together as family is one of my favorite parts of the job. It means every project gets the same care and attention we’d want for our own homes and families.

Most importantly, I’m here for you throughout your project. I’ll be the familiar smiling face you see along the way and your main point of contact for questions and updates, or just to make sure you can relax trusting that everything is done right.

I take pride in seeing all of those little details come together and getting to hand a beautifully finished home back to our homeowners!

🏡 Project Spotlight

Look at this beautiful transformation!

For this exterior, we paired Dovetail on the body with Tricorn Black trim for a bold contrast, while Sommelier brings a deep, wine-inspired accent to the peaks and garage door. We love how these colors came together while still complementing the warmth of the home’s stone.

Thank you to these homeowners for trusting Luxor Renovation with your beautiful home!

💛💻 Meet Our Digital Systems & Design Manager

Hi, I’m Lauren!

At Luxor, I sit at the intersection of design and technology. Alexis likes to call me the “tech wizard” around here, and I’ll happily own that title.

A lot of my work happens behind the scenes, where I build and refine the digital systems, automations, and processes that make things easier for our team and create a smoother experience for our homeowners. On the creative side, I designed and continue to develop our website, manage our social content, and shape much of the digital experience you see from Luxor.

What I love most about my role is getting to bring those two worlds together. Every system and every design has a purpose beyond what you see. It all plays a part in creating a better experience for the homeowners who trust us with their homes and for the incredible team behind it all.

I may spend a lot of time behind a screen, but I’m not always behind the scenes! There’s a good chance you’ll hear my voice when you call Luxor, and I’m always happy to help however I can!

💛 Meet our Founder!

Hi, I’m Alexis, founder and CEO of Luxor Renovation.

When I started Luxor, I wanted to build more than a painting company. I wanted to create a business that homeowners could feel confident welcoming into their homes, one built around great communication, attention to detail, and a genuinely better experience from beginning to end.

What started with a vision and a lot of long days has grown into a team I’m incredibly proud of. These days, my role looks a little different. I spend more of my time building our team, creating new opportunities for Luxor, and making sure the experience we set out to provide continues as we grow.

I’m a business owner, a mom, a fiancée, and someone who still gets genuinely excited seeing a freshly painted home at the end of a project.

Thank you to every homeowner who has trusted us, referred us, left a kind review, or followed along. You’ve helped turn an idea into something much bigger than I imagined when I started.

Here’s to everything still ahead!

💬❓ FAQ Friday

You asked, we’re answering! Another round of quick answers to some of the questions we hear from homeowners. 🏡

What should we answer next? 💛

This doorway needed a little more than fresh paint. We started by repairing the damaged trim and properly preparing the area before giving both the door and trim a crisp finish.

Along with fresh paint across the exterior, details like this repair helped leave this beautiful home looking refreshed and brand new again! 💛✨

🏡📸 Project Spotlight

We love this beautiful home refresh! 💛

Uncertain Gray gave the body a lighter slate-gray finish, while deeper Grays Harbor on the peaks brought out the architecture. We finished it with Snowbound, a soft, cool white that keeps the trim looking clean and crisp!

🏡🎨 Project Palette

A palette built around warm and natural tones. Natural Linen creates a soft foundation across the body, while Sable brings a deeper tone to the wood trim and Cocoa Whip adds subtle contrast to the stucco trim.

Together, all three shades give this exterior a warm, layered look that feels right at home! 🤎
