We just wrapped up an incredible experience at the Real Estate Investing for Dentists Summit with Roshan and Nathan, and I must say it was an unforgettable weekend. Mona, Charlie, and I had the chance to reconnect with old friends and make some fantastic new ones. These events always leave me inspired, and this one was no exception.
As an active investor, it’s always amazing to see how Roshan and Nathan elevate to higher levels with each event. You might think you know a decent amount about investing—until you find yourself in a room, rubbing shoulders with operators managing $2.2 billion. Charlie Young was an absolute highlight. Not only did he speak to us like old friends, but his willingness to openly share his knowledge and insights was truly refreshing. He’s the kind of person who genuinely wants to see others succeed.
Another major takeaway was from Mark Kohlet, ESQ/CPA, who shared a career's worth of priceless knowledge with a passion that’s hard to replicate. His depth of understanding and the fire he brings to these conversations is unmatched.
And let’s not forget Roshan, who gave an outstanding presentation on hard money lending—an area I’ve been eager to learn more about. He truly delivered on another level! His depth of knowledge and ability to break down complex concepts into actionable steps made the subject accessible and exciting. Hard money lending has always intrigued me, and Roshan’s presentation clarified how it can be a game-changer in the world of real estate investing. Of course, Roshan also blessed us with the actual blueprint to create a money printer. His strategies are next-level, and RK is officially the new HP printer.
If you haven’t heard Nathan’s story yet, you’re missing out. His passion for seeing others achieve greatness is something that really sets him apart. He’s not just talking the talk—he’s living it and lifting others as he climbs. What a big heart!
The event also featured Michael Abernathy, who talked about building wealth through your practice and staying grounded, keeping the important things front and center. His insights on keeping your practice a foundation for long-term success were invaluable.
The STR Queen, Diya Liu, as always, blew us away with her passion for helping others achieve freedom through short-term rentals. She’s a powerhouse in the space and someone to watch if you want to learn how to build financial independence.
And, then there’s AJ Osborne—his story really touched me. To hear about how he overcame a life-altering medical condition and then used that experience to fuel his passion to teach others was incredibly moving. His dedication to ensuring families aren’t dependent on a provider’s ability to physically show up for work is a lesson we should all take to heart.
We were also treated to a session by Amanda Wynalda, who shared valuable information on asset protection. Her ability to balance being a supermom of six while helping professionals protect their assets is simply extraordinary.
The presentation from Custom Capital was, as always, a home run. Their insights on commercial real estate never fail to impress, and they consistently deliver information that’s as actionable as it is inspiring.
One of the best parts of the event was the panel discussions, where real boots-on-the-ground stories were shared. These weren’t just theoretical concepts—these were real investors, who attended this event in years past, who are taking massive action and seeing results. This is why Roshan and Nathan are so generous with their knowledge. They want to motivate everyone to not only achieve their goals but to live life on their terms.
Oh, and I overheard a rumor that next year’s event might be held at Cowboys Stadium! Honestly, if the amount of knowledge shared at this summit could be measured in space, even Cowboys Stadium wouldn’t be big enough to hold it all! They might need to rent out NASA instead—because this level of actionable insight is out of this world!
Finally, a huge thank you to Roshan and Nathan for allowing me to share my passion with your group. I hope I presented real estate development in a way that inspired others to see it not only as a fun and exciting path but also as a way to provide exceptional housing that we can all take pride in. My goal was to show that with dedication and a little hard work, anyone can unlock new streams of income and achieve the success they’ve always dreamed of. If you put your mind to it, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish!
I loved every moment of this event, and I can’t wait to return next year!
(It was amazing that Roshan and Nathan allowed Charlie Beylin to pick the $1,000 prize winner. Charlie has brought so much happiness and joy to Mona and I, and he was so happy to lick so many new faces at the event!)
