First impressions start before you ever open the front door.

This resurfaced front porch is a great example of how updating one element can give an entire entrance a fresh, finished look.

The new surface complements the stone, white columns and landscaping without taking away from the character of the home — and gives an existing porch a completely different feel without starting over.

Sometimes you have to get right in there.

There’s a lot more to a concrete pour than getting the concrete on the ground.

The finish comes down to the hands-on work — working the edges, watching the surface and getting into whatever position the job requires.

And on this one, that position just happened to be in the pool. 😂

This one apparently required a swimsuit. 😂

When you're pouring a new brushed concrete deck around an existing pool, sometimes the best place to finish the job is in the pool.

From the prep and forming to the pour and hand finishing, the Ambrogi crew is getting this one done — one section at a time.

Remember this patio?

We recently shared the finished transformation, but now that the furniture is in and the landscaping is coming together, we couldn't resist sharing another look.

This is the part we love to see—when a finished concrete project becomes a space that's actually ready to be enjoyed. The custom pattern creates the look of individual pavers while providing the solid foundation of a concrete patio, and the homeowners' finishing touches bring the whole backyard together.

The next step? Pouring the concrete floor later this week as this beautiful home continues to come together.
