Little 1/2 bath update. The window wall was exposed block. Previous sink just hung on the wall.

20 years ago I did my first large renovation. Installed lots of walnut flooring with walnut architectural details throughout. Replaced builder grade trim and hollow doors with real materials (solid pine). Everything from that 2 decades old renovation withstood the test of time. The house just sold within a few days of listing for the full asking price. If you do it right, it doesn’t have to be re-done.

The passages from the newer addition into the civil war era log cabin were a total mess. Craig at Renaissance in Wood milled the custom casings and made the transoms. We sourced vintage glass panes from Architectural Old House Parts.

One of my favorite pieces from our project featured in Architectural Digest. This banquette floats off the wall with no visible signs of support. See comments for photo credit.

We did this renovation. It was a super fun one!

Received this pic and text from a client today. They even found a fun way to utilize the receptacle in the lower left.

This kitchen is mostly built on site and finished in place. The island has quarter sawn ash doors, drawers, and end panels. The floor is heated.
