There was a post about pebbles in a shower pan on one of the tile groups. It's rare to nonexistent where you can simply lay a sheet of pebbles with another sheet next to it without seeing the ugly gridded sheet lines. If not single setting I like to space the sheets apart 1-2"or so and fill in the spacez with singles to eliminate the grid lines.
