ChatGPT was asked to turn a professionally designed bathroom rendering into a photorealistic image. Instead, it completely enclosed the shower behind a wall of cabinets—with no door and no way to get inside!

Laurel started over, but the next attempt created even more design problems. The closet disappeared, the cabinetry changed, the L-shaped vanity moved to the wrong wall, and the wall that should separate the shower and vanity was missing.

AI can create impressive images, but accurate bathroom design requires more than a picture that looks realistic. Function, layout, measurements, and construction details still matter.

Taj Mahal Quartzite is all the rage. While beautiful, be aware this is a HIGH cost product! This home had probably $40,000 worth just in the kitchen. Add in the laundry room, bathrooms, closets, and you end up with a project that had, in material alone, upwards of $80,000 in quartzite.

There are a variety of less expensive products that offer incredible beauty and function. And, if quartzite is in your budget, here’s an example of what the end result will look like.
