The saltwater vs. chlorine conversation comes up on almost every residential build we do.

Saltwater systems still use chlorine. They just generate it from salt rather than requiring you to add it manually, which means more consistent water chemistry and a noticeably softer feel in the water. Neither system is universally better. The right answer depends on how the pool gets used and how much maintenance involvement the homeowner wants.
