Sometimes you don't have to travel far to find an Atlantic Landscapes connection. Other times, you find one halfway around the world.

Zach, who works in our Logistics & Resources department, recently visited Sean Taggart — a longtime friend and Peace Corps volunteer stationed in Hanoi, Vietnam. He spent a week with Sean in Hanoi, followed by a day in the small town where Sean has spent the past two years living and teaching English.

Sean has also worked part-time with Atlantic Landscapes helping with snow removal, so naturally, they brought some Atlantic gear along for the trip!

From snow removal in Pennsylvania to teaching English in Vietnam, we're proud to see how far our people — and our gear — can go.

Good hardscaping isn't just about installing new materials—it's about making them work with what's already there. Our masonry team brought old and new together for a seamless front door landing.

We appreciate our clients taking the time to share their experience working with our crew!

Thinking about upgrading your outdoor space? Autumn is actually the ideal season to build.

Here is why:

- Perfect Weather: Cooler, drier air creates the most stable ground conditions for concrete and stone installation.
- Less Yard Damage: Fall grass is entering dormancy, meaning your lawn recovers much faster from heavy equipment.
- Zero Waiting in Spring: Build now, and your space is 100% ready to enjoy on the very first warm day next year.

Delaware's peak summer weeks place severe stress on your lawn.

Prevent heat burnout and keep your grass green with these three maintenance adjustments:

- Water Deeply: Irrigate in the early morning to reach deeper roots.
- Raise Your Mower: Keep grass longer to shade soil and retain moisture.
- Avoid Fertilizer: Skip treatments during heatwaves to prevent plant stress.
