Today’s ribbon cutting at the new Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School in New Castle County Vocational Technical School District was a proud moment for the ABHA | Buck Simpers Architect + Associates, Inc. (BSA+A) team, and the reflection in this Silver Eagles balloon captures the crowd that gathered to celebrate the opening of this incredible new school.

At 304,000 square feet, the new Hodgson includes:

▶ More than 55,000 SF of shop and program lab space
▶ A 1,220-seat gymnasium
▶ A 250-seat auditorium
▶ An 18,000 SF outdoor student courtyard
▶ A 45,000 SF outdoor shop courtyard
▶ A media center, wrestling and weight rooms, concession stand, and Sean’s Room for mental health and wellbeing

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the team that helped bring this new home for the Silver Eagles to life. Congratulations to the entire Hodgson and NCCVT community!

We’re proud to continue our work with Exceptional Care for Children and honored to have partnered on the new Bridge Unit—an extraordinary addition that will provide specialized transitional care for teenagers and young adults with complex medical needs.
