We just wanted to give a shout out to a solid man that has been running a solid local business (Wilmington Sheet Metal) for many years. He was my main source for about 3 years (when I was 17-19 yrs old). Then I began using another older man that’s closer to me (Ricky Hill). Ricky will never be replaced. I used Ricky for 20 years and now use his son (Ryan Hill Jr). Heritage Roofing & Sheet Metal LLC is the company.
However, over the years I’ve found myself in a “position here and a position there”.
Well…. Billy w/ Wilmington Sheet Metal has come through every single time. He’s a stand up local business owner who attempts to please everyone who walks in the door to his business. He’s one of the last few hardworking OG’s still around. We greatly appreciate Billy, his employees, their hard work ethic and even more so, we appreciate him saving our butt on this current job. As I sit outside this old shop for over an hour patiently waiting as Billy custom fabricates a part that many wouldn’t even touch, I can’t help but think about how far back we all go.

Here’s a 36” factory built rip and replace we recently completed. This was originally an early 90’s factory built wood burning fireplace and a 26’ triple wall air cooled chimney system. We removed the existing unit and installed a brand new 36” Astria factory built wood burning fireplace and new double wall air cooled chimney system. It was a scorcher at a brutal 102+ degrees for this entire week. This job stood out to me (Jeff) because my youngest son (Nathan) was able to get his hands on a small portion of this. I’m thankful to have been blessed in life where I’m able to take my children to work when the times right. I enjoyed teaching him, but even more so just watching him learn! This customer was someone we have a past relationship with. He is another successful business owner in town and also a solid member of our hunting club.
We greatly appreciate his business and our relationship.
