Outlet and Circuit Safety Tips:

• Avoid overloading outlets: Do not plug too many devices or multi-outlet converters into a single wall socket or power strip.

• One high-wattage appliance at a time: Only plug one heat-producing appliance (such as a toaster, space heater, or coffee maker) into an outlet at a time.

• Plug major appliances directly: Large appliances like refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers must be plugged straight into a wall outlet, never into an extension cord or power strip.

• Do not "daisy chain": Never plug power strips or extension cords into one another.
