Geberit Campus in Pfullendorf: Holistic Architecture✨

The new Geberit Campus is a modern training and exhibition centre that combines learning, brand identity and architecture. For this project, durlum provided around 4,000 m² of GEO open-cell ceilings in both indoor and outdoor areas. The high-quality, black-brown ceiling creates a seamless transition between the different areas and emphasises the clear architectural language inspired by the square shape of the Geberit logo.

The compact PUNTEO-J60 recessed downlight complements the elegant TICELL-N open-cell ceiling (from 60x60mm cell size) to create an aesthetically and technically sophisticated system solution. Available in a variety of housing colours and light distributions, the luminaire fits discreetly into the ceiling without the need for tools. The result is a homogeneous ceiling appearance and a pleasant lighting atmosphere.

durlum expertise: Without effective cooling, conditions quickly become uncomfortable

Metal ceilings are ideal for integrating water-cooling elements to provide silent, draft-free, and hygienic climate control in any room. Thermoregulated water is circulated through the system, regulating the surface temperature of the COOLTEC metal ceilings, which then either radiate heat or chill the air in the room, resulting in a pleasant, temperature controlled environment.

These temperature-controlled ceilings offer planners and architects complete design freedom: whether with the POLYLAM vertical baffle ceiling, a closed metal ceiling, the dur-SOLO free-hanging raft ceiling, or the RHOMBOS expanded metal ceiling. Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport: Architecture Meets Flexibility. ✈️

With the modular ‘Growing Beetle’ concept, the new terminal is designed for the future and can be adapted to changing requirements. durlum contributes to this vision with bespoke ceiling systems: the POLYLAM vertical baffle ceiling, featuring a unique zigzag design, combines striking appearance with functionality. The system is complemented by integrated ducts for the aesthetic integration of building services.

The result is modern spaces that meet the demands of both today and tomorrow.

Natural light is the most sustainable form of lighting. That’s why we at durlum develop daylighting systems that bring architecture to life.☀️

One example of this is the ITIS shopping center in Helsinki. Our DIAMOND TUBE daylighting system captures incoming daylight, reflects it, and directs it into the space in multiple directions. This creates a dynamic lighting effect that constantly reimagines the architecture throughout the day.

Outstanding Architecture for Modern Mobility:

In 2025, Magdeburg Central Station was named “Station of the Year,” particularly for its high quality of visitor experience, accessibility, and the successful redesign of the entire station area.

For the project, durlum implemented ceiling, lighting, and wall cladding solutions. The combination of our high-gloss S7 metal ceiling and integrated OMEGA PROTECT light lines creates a bright, airy atmosphere and clear wayfinding. The WS4 wall cladding made of high-gloss aluminium echoes the materiality of the ceiling, creating a harmonious overall look.

The result: A contemporary transportation hub that combines functionality, durability, and architectural quality.
