A great day was had at Touch a Truck 2026!

We loved bringing our employees and their families together for a day filled with fun, food, and plenty of activities for all ages.

From food trucks and carnival games to a petting zoo, magician, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible and to our employees and their families who came out to celebrate with us. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Thank you to the DNREC team for stopping by to tour the Lums Pond project!

While onsite, the team was able to see the progress being made across the 14 cottages currently under construction and get a firsthand look at the beautiful views of Lums Pond. The two and three bedroom cottages will feature full kitchens, HVAC, fireplaces, private decks, and outdoor fire pits, with four units being fully ADA accessible. Inside, vaulted ceilings in the living and dining areas help create an open, spacious feel.

We’re proud to be part of a project that will bring comfortable, thoughtfully designed accommodations to Lums Pond State Park.

Seeing double this Fresh Iron Friday!

We’ve added a pair of new Cat 270 XE Skid Steers to the fleet, keeping things fresh with two of Caterpillar’s latest models. With higher reach and more hydraulic horsepower, these machines bring even more capability to the jobsite.

Another successful partnership with New Castle County Parks! Eastern States was proud to be on hand for the ribbon cutting and grand reopening of Bechtel Park.

Selected by New Castle County for this modernization, the project included a new playground, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, along with new fields including a soccer field. Representing Eastern States at the event were John Czerwinski, Bob Mitchum, and Matt Green, who joined Mike Clendaniel and Kendall Somers from the project team at New Castle County, along with other county officials, to celebrate this exciting milestone.

We’re thrilled with how the project turned out and grateful to have been part of bringing this upgraded community space to life!
