BPGS Construction was proud to attend Night with Nemours at Longwood Gardens, celebrating 90 years of caring for kids. 💙

The evening brought together community partners and supporters to celebrate Nemours’ lasting impact on children and families while looking ahead to the future of pediatric care. We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families throughout our region.

BPGS Construction has had the opportunity to support Nemours Children’s Health through the renovation of its Administrative Office Building in Wilmington, DE. The project transformed the original Administrative and Research Building into a modern, 150,000-square-foot administrative facility while preserving its historic character. The completed space supports Nemours’ day-to-day operations and the important work its team does for children and families.

🏗️ PROJECT COMPLETION: OPUS Restaurant
Congratulations to Square Roots Collective, a locally focused non-profit that donates 100% of its hospitality profits back to the community, on the opening of Opus, their new restaurant on Birch Street in Kennett Square, PA!

In 2019, Square Roots Collective identified the building at the corner of Birch and Broad Streets as a diamond in the rough and brought in BPGS Construction to manage construction and development. Working alongside Troupe Architects, the team set out to give the building new life and continue its legacy of being a welcoming spot for the community.

The result is Opus Kennett Square, a 5,000-square-foot, two-level restaurant featuring a vaulted, hand-painted mural ceiling, a horseshoe-shaped cocktail bar beneath its own barrel vault, and a two-story dining porch. Attached to Artelo, an art-centric 14-room boutique hotel, Opus continues the art focus with a curated collection of 30+ contemporary works.

From crumbling sheathing and surprise footers to juggling art grade finishes during rough construction, this project provided no shortage of creative problem solving. But these challenges helped us grow as a team and gave the community a structure that will continue to take root for years to come.

A little Oktoberfest competition, BPGS style! 🍻🌾

The BPGS Construction team headed to Ramsey Farms for our annual fall outing, enjoying a day of great food from Ennis BBQ & Grill, time together at Ramsey's Farm, and plenty of Oktoberfest games and friendly competition. From testing our skills to cheering on our teammates, it was a great day to step away from the daily grind and enjoy some time together!

At BPGS, company culture means making time to connect, have some fun and build relationships beyond the work we do every day. Days like this are a great reminder of the people who make our team what it is.

From groundbreaking in February 2026 to completion in July 2026. 🏗️➡️
We are proud to showcase the full construction journey of the new enclosure at Brandywine Zoo. BPGS Construction partnered with the Delaware Zoological Society and Brandywine Zoo to bring this new space to life, creating an improved environment for both the animals and the community.
The new enclosure features thoughtfully designed habitats and visitor spaces that enhance the zoo experience while supporting the care, enrichment, and well-being of its residents.

Building strong partnerships extends beyond the jobsite.
Last week, BPGS Construction brought our team and subcontractor partners together at Constitution Yards for a co****le tournament. Teams went head-to-head in a little friendly competition while enjoying time together, good food, music and plenty of sunshine.
Each year, we host an appreciation event to bring our subcontractor partners and BPGS team together, showing our gratitude for the relationships that continue to strengthen the work we do every day.
🏆 Congratulations to this year’s 1st place winners: David Summerfield of BPGS Construction and TJ Ferrara of Building Concepts of America!
A special thank you to Constitution Yards for hosting. We enjoyed getting to experience the new and improved b**r garden and look forward to being back.

In honor of the UD Career Fair today, we’re reflecting on Professor Ashish’s summer shadowing experience with us at BPGS Construction.

As part of a shadowing experience with BPGS Construction, Professor Ashish got an inside look at our team, projects, and the work happening beyond the classroom. From learning more about the construction industry to gaining firsthand insight from our team, the experience offered a new perspective on what a career in construction can look like.
