Not every repair is as simple as it looks from the ground…

This second-story gutter had pulled loose and the downspout completely detached — putting the home at risk for water damage and foundation issues. At over 20 feet up, this wasn’t just a quick fix — it required proper access, secure anchoring, and making sure everything was pitched correctly so it drains the way it should.

We re-secured the gutter, properly reinstalled the downspout, and made sure everything is locked in so it won’t be coming down again.

Another home protected the right way 👍

If your gutters are sagging, leaking, or pulling away — don’t wait until it turns into a bigger problem.

Before → After | Exterior Restoration

Most contractors would have painted over this.

We didn’t.

Behind the original finish were failing sealants, open transitions, and early signs of water intrusion — the kind of issues that come back fast if ignored.

So we corrected everything first:

✔️ Removed and replaced all failed caulking
✔️ Sealed every trim-to-brick and foundation transition
✔️ Repaired entry stone and exterior joints
✔️ Full prep and repaint of trim, fascia, and shutters
✔️ Interior areas cleaned, prepped, and refinished

Then we finished it.

The result isn’t just a cleaner look —
it’s a home that’s properly sealed, protected, and built to last.

This is the difference between a paint job…
and doing it right.

Day 1 demo is officially underway 🔨

One bathroom completely gutted, second one halfway there. You can already see how much space opens up once everything is stripped back to the bones.

This is where the real work starts — correcting what’s behind the walls, dialing in the layout, and building it back the right way so there are no issues down the line.

We’ve got a full transformation coming on this one — new shower layout, updated fixtures, and a much cleaner, more functional space.

Stay tuned… this one’s going to be a big upgrade.

Sometimes a “simple flooring job” turns into uncovering bigger issues underneath.

Kathy was dealing with loose tile flooring and water intrusion from a sliding door, which had begun causing rot in the subfloor and door framing. Once we opened things up, we discovered damaged materials that needed to be removed and rebuilt before any new flooring could go down.

We repaired the affected subfloor area, corrected the leak source at the sliding door, and then installed new water-resistant vinyl flooring throughout the space to give the room a clean, durable finish.

The result is a floor that not only looks great, but is now properly supported and protected from future moisture problems.

Thank you Kathy for the kind review and for trusting us with your home!

If something in your home doesn’t look right, it’s usually better to address it early before it turns into a bigger issue.

🚽 Commercial Toilet Repair

A commercial restroom had a toilet that was rocking and unstable, which can lead to seal failure, leaks, and potential floor damage if left uncorrected.

We removed the fixture, installed a new synthetic wax ring, properly shimmed the base to eliminate movement, and secured and caulked the toilet for a clean, durable finish suitable for a high-use environment.

Restroom is now stable, sealed, and ready for daily use.

When a Floor Moves Every Time You Walk on It… Something’s Wrong

The homeowner noticed their kitchen tile floor shifting and moving underfoot. Once we started removing the tile, it became clear the original installation hadn’t bonded properly to the subfloor. Over time the movement caused the floor to fail.

We removed the loose tile, repaired the affected areas underneath, and installed a new vinyl floor to give the kitchen a solid, durable surface again.

Sometimes the problem isn’t the material — it’s how it was installed.

If something in your home doesn’t look or feel right, it’s worth addressing before it turns into a bigger repair.

A Small Leak That Turned Into a Big Problem

The homeowner noticed water getting in around their sliding door. At first it didn’t seem like a major issue, but when we opened things up we discovered the real problem.

Water had been working its way behind the exterior trim for quite some time. The moisture slowly rotted the sheathing and wood framing below the door, and it even started affecting the flooring inside near the doorway.

We removed the damaged materials, cleaned out the rot, and rebuilt the area so the door is properly sealed and protected from future leaks. New flashing and trim were installed to direct water away from the structure.

Catching issues like this early can prevent much bigger structural repairs down the road.

If something around your doors or windows doesn’t look right, it’s worth having it checked before it
turns into hidden damage.

“The dog ate my baseboard.” 🐕

This customer’s pup decided the foyer trim looked like a pretty good chew toy.

After the damage, a previous drywall repair left the wall slightly built up, which meant the baseboard wouldn’t sit behind the tile edge.

Fix:
Cut the tile edge back with a tile saw, corrected the wall surface, installed new base moulding, and finished it off with quarter round for a clean transition along the tile and stairs.

Now the foyer looks like the dog never won the battle with the trim.

If you’ve got small repairs around the house that need attention, feel free to reach out. Always happy to help.

Water damage left this ceiling stained and the wall cut open for plumbing access. The return vent was even taped on instead of secured properly.

We removed the damaged drywall, treated and sealed the ceiling stains, patched and finished the wall, replaced the return vent correctly, and blended everything back in with a smooth, clean paint finish.

Another repair done right — no shortcuts, no callbacks.

Water intrusion solved 💧➡️🚫

This homeowner was getting water into the basement, causing damage to the interior walls. The issue turned out to be large gaps where the concrete walkways and asphalt driveway met the foundation.

We sealed those gaps using a self-leveling concrete joint filler and asphalt sealer to redirect water away from the house and stop moisture from entering the basement. A small exterior fix that makes a big difference long-term.

If you’re seeing water stains, peeling paint, or damp basement walls, the problem often starts outside.

Cold temps and exposed pipes don’t mix.
Today we insulated a tight crawlspace area, air-sealed around plumbing, wrapped the pipes for freeze protection, and reinstalled the HVAC duct to keep everything protected and accessible.

Preventing frozen pipes now avoids emergencies later.
