Our local sportsman’s club in Willshire had a dead pin oak with some dangerous hanging branches they wanted removed before there big trade days show at the end of the month. We donated our equipment,fuel,and time. With a few of their members also volunteering to help we made quick work of it.
If you are local and not a member of the Willshire sportsman’s club I highly suggest it. A yearly membership cost $10 and gets you year round access to the club for fishing, camping and many other activities. It also allows you to rent the clubhouse and pavilions for $50 to use for gatherings, grad parties, etc.
It is a wonderful non profit organization that gives back to their community and gets kids involved in outdoor activities. They are always looking for new members and active volunteers.

This dead white oak was more than the homeowner wanted to tackle expecially with powerlines becoming a possible factor. BTS got it down safely for the homeowner to start making some firewood
