Plumbkng Blessings Lesson 101:
😁🙏🏻
Most plumbers don’t solder copper anymore. We use a tool called a pro press (with press fittings)
Tool can cost up to $3,000 + depending on what size heads we need.
We still have to do the same steps that are required when soldering such as:
Ream & clean- if you look at the picture with the copper pipe. One picture is a freshly cut pipe and inside of the pipe has a thing we call a burr ( rough inner lip disrupts smooth water flow creating pressure drops and noise in plumbing, could also cause a leak or green build up around the press fitting.
Reaming & cleaning all pipes before connecting.
The grit cloth is to clean the outside of the pipe for any burrs or defections with the pipe. I also have a deburring tool that I use that is faster and more effective.

Just wanted to pass on some special skills and doing the job right to help protect your home and get the quality work and service you all deserve.

Little guy needed some love 🫣😁
This was at a local auto body shop here in Lancaster.
Needed a new utility room HWH that takes care of two sinks 👀
Unit was coated with 🤷‍♂️
Removed and replaced with a GE water heater that has a 8 year warranty maybe less because this is a commercial install.
Anyways had to replace and install pipe with copper pipes per code (because it is a commercial install)
You can see most of the tools needed to start and finish the job.
Put a plastic protector around the unit for future maintenance. Always thinking of the next guy.
Insulted the top of the unit water supplies and cleaned up, ready to go.
Always blessed for the opportunity 🙏🏻😎

Who needs propane?

I Had someone tell me it was about $1.60 two weeks ago! 😮 💚

Best Price Propane in Columbia.

I gave them a call and I bet they were probably at least a dollar cheaper than anybody else out there with no delivery charges. They did a free leak test and delivered my propane within three days.
I still had about 20% left, but figured I fill up before the cold months are upon us.
Tell them Andy from Good Faith Plumbing referred you.
Very nice ladies in the office, easy to talk to, very easy process.
I was very impressed!
Getting cold fast 🥶

Number is being updated on the van….
🫣😂.

Dawn said I needed to be a little more noticeably rather than driving the Amish mother ship caravan 🤦‍♂️🤪.
Didn’t want to do an entire wrap but loved working with Cassel wraps on Fruitville Pike. I think this was the 4 vehicle they have done for me over the past 6 years.
Moving billboard needed a professional look.
Thank you Cassel Team and my clients.
Blessed 😊💚 grateful 😊

Dawn goes to a clients house to help them list their home for sale. She walks into the basement and sees the water heater leaking. Turns to the homeowner saying “I know a guy” 😃
Went out and replaced the 50 gallon electric water heater with expansion tank.
Now the new owners will have a new unit with a 6 year warranty.

This is a Delta cartridge(s) for your tub shower. Big box store prices.
Even though I’m not a Delta fan figured I’d share this info.
Let’s say you have a drippy Faucet or some people say my showerhead is leaking most times it’s due to having a bad cartridge seat or springs.
Do you know that you can get a free cartridge sent to your home by Moen, Kohler and yes even Delta. If you can identify the Faucet and tell them that you are the original owner, they will send you a new cartridge for free if your Faucet is installed after a certain year say like 2001. Sometimes they will ask you to send a picture by email to them while they are on the phone so they can identify the correct parts.

This is one reason why I like Moen and their cartridges are pretty simple to replace.
This could save you X amount of dollars if you were able to get a free cartridge and have somebody like Good Faith Plumbing install it for you.
Just trying to help my client save money wherever they can.

Amazing how a new kitchen faucet can brighten up your kitchen. Just replacing a fixture could prolong the renovation of a new room. Satisfies the itch 😉😬😁.

Customer has no water, no problem!
Switched out the pump and wire after pulling high Amps.
Installed a new pump and noticed the pressure and was water logged. Had to replace it and repipe to clean up the pit and get rid of nylon fittings, installed stainless steel.
Put in a 32 gallon tank rather than the 20 gallon that was there. Larger tanks gives you a larger reservoir and lets your pump rest between cycles.
If I’m gonna do it, it will be right.
Customers appreciate me saying this is what I would do at my home .

After a few hours they had water with constant pressure.

Went to Lititz to swap out a water heater that was installed back in 2005.
Added an expansion tank due to having a check valve after the meter. New copper valves and feed.
Keeping busy isn’t a problem these days.
Now I have about 20 phone calls and emails I have to attend to 😬
Thank you everyone for your patience and hope you have a blessed day🙏🏻💚
God is Great! 😊

September 28, 2022 🤔
A day when Floridians lives were changed and devastated.
They showed us how to come together as one and rebuild. Some business were lost forever, some rebuilt and the community rallied around them as we prayed for them.
I traveled to Florida quite often since 2011 and love the area that was hit hard. But when I go back I don’t forget nor take for granted what can be taken away within minutes.
Get out and enjoy life, each other and be willing to help when needed.
A day of reflection 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
