One of our favorite ways to create a clean, high-end look is by matching the coping and waterline tile. Then, instead of covering everything in glass tile, we use it strategically where it creates the most impact.

This pool in Willis was built in the 80s, and the porcelain tile was rough.

Instead of ripping it all out, we got in there and chiseled the calcium off by hand and cleaned it up.

Matched it with travertine coping, cut everything flush so there's not a jagged edge anywhere, and finished it off with white quartz plaster that will last.

Old pool, new life. 🙌

We said we'd never use fake rock. We lied. 😅

My guys spent a full week out here matching the color of the artificial rock perfectly to the natural stones in the waterfall and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.🙌

A reminder to choose your pool builder wisely.

This pool was brand new, but it already had falling tile and multiple leaks.

We came in, leveled the entire pool, relaid every tile, and corrected every imperfection. And you'd never know we were there.

Now, this weekend home is ready to be enjoyed all summer long. 🙌
