At Branscome, we’re proud to have team members who step up when it matters most.

We want to recognize Jose Pinzon of our Survey Team for his heroic actions while traveling across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel yesterday. After witnessing a law enforcement officer suffer an apparent medical emergency and drive off the roadway — leaving the vehicle hanging dangerously on the bridge — Jose immediately stopped to help.

While others continued driving past the scene, Jose acted without hesitation. He was able to safely pull the officer from the vehicle, demonstrating incredible courage, quick thinking, and selflessness during a life-threatening situation.

Jose’s actions reflect the character, compassion, and leadership we value at Branscome every day. We are incredibly proud to have him on our team and grateful for the example he set through his bravery.
