🚨 Bald Faced Hornets have been RAMPANT this year! 🚨

This nest was active and packed with developing hornets. Bald faced hornets may look intimidating because they ARE. These aggressive aerial defenders can sting multiple times and will aggressively protect their nest if disturbed.

We’ve been seeing a major increase in calls this season across Williamsburg and Hampton Roads. Nests are showing up in:
• Trees
• Bushes
• Rooflines
• Playsets
• Sheds
• Even low hanging areas near entryways

If you notice increased hornet activity around your home, do not attempt to knock the nest down yourself. One vibration can trigger the entire colony.
