1st coat today over spot primes. Not much ladder work. After the 1st coat you will see drywall inconsistencies that need to be mudded. It's a process not a race. I take pride in my work and integrity is what God sees and expects. Honesty is doing the work right. No short cuts.

When I first arrived here in Ocean City Maryland I applied for a job at the Carousel Hotel and Resort1991. I got the job. Hands down it was hard being a house man and that meant I had to move huge Buffet tables around and a lot of chairs that were stacked upon each other with a chair rack puller. It was at that time that I learned that the ice skating rink could be thawed out and large Banquets could be held on the ice skating rink. Joe Garliss, Sue Garliss lived upstairs. I was friends with Beth Garlisss I didn't know Wendy Garliss at that time. But I learned a lot of discipline. I was recruited by Rudy Van Con from the maintenance department and the Carousel Hotel and Resort sent me to Sussex Tech. They sent me there for free tuition. It was there that I learned how to do plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, welding, and Automotive,. I spent many days underneath of sinks replacing garbage disposals, pulling up toilets, replacing wax rings for toilets, installing ceiling fans, installing new light fixtures, repairing headboards, and painting. I also learned how to repair VHS tape recorders, rebuild telephones, rebuild vacuums, telephones, and cut tile for drop ceilings. Needless to say I learned everything at the hotel at the carousel. They sent me to school for free. I in the end I also learned how to do roofing shingles bundles carry them up there to the multiple places that had to be done. So I went to a maintenance company called Fresco maintenance you probably know them as Legom and Norman. After working for other companies for so long I decided that painting was for me. So I became above and beyond painting. I grew really fast and as a female contractor I had 32 guys on payroll. They had to use those paper clock in things. And they turned them into my account. 32 guys is a big big deal. There's not a lot of quality in that work. I had three shifts my morning crew, which were very responsible needed the money and had families with support. Then I had the second crew which were basically part-time painter. Then I had the nighttime crew which were non speaking English guys that basically prepped the units. No painting involved for them. I was painting for Mariani Tony Mariani. I was the first female contractor in Ocean City it was very very early in my years of knowing what to do but I grabbed ahold of all the knowledge that I knew and I ran with it. Having 32 people on payroll was a big deal. It's not easy to have that kind of payroll. I had to hire an accountant. I had her do all the taxes. I had so much to do at such an early age but it all turned out okay. 410-251-9576. Christina Fortner. Text or call. Waiting list is 4 months out. God Bless you.

Got another cabinet job. Picked doors and drawer faces up from Bethany. Removed hinges and put them in a sealed container. Cleaned off all of the oils 2x with DA. Sanded doors and got the gloss off. Applied a light coat after tack cloth. I always do a test door to make sure the process is permanent.

In my 30 years of painting for people I've never received a thank you card. That's why I'm posting this. I was very very touched to receive such a wonderful compliment. In case you can't read cursive it says thank you so ever very much for such an Exquisite job done so quickly you guys are the best. And Bill and I really appreciate your amazing abilities and dependability. Please if anyone needs a reference let us know. I'm hanging this on my refrigerator because I do work very very hard sometimes on two to three jobs per day. It is not physically easy to do that. My mindset each day has to focus on who needs what more. Although there is no such thing as a painting emergency. In this particular case the renters were coming down and I only had a short window to get in there and get it done before occupancy. I really appreciate your business. God bless you all.

Covered the cabinets with plastic to keep drywall dust from falling in eating areas. We roll the plastic back up after work is done to allow kitchen use. The dust is swept up and cleaned for safety. Also covered around switches for kids safety. I believe better safe than sorry. That's what I was taught. The tape will be removed during paint day. Plates will be put back on after paint is dry. Fans will be incorporated to speed up drying process. Kids are in school during work hours.
