Rick called Guardian Foundation Repair out to inspect his daughter’s home. Because of the large amounts of water we have had this spring and summer, she had areas with 3 to 4 inches of standing water under the house. Guardian was able to come through and provide them with an interior drain line system, as well as install two sump pumps so that water could be discharged and taken away from the structure.

Braxton and Karen called Guardian Foundation Repair to inspect their crawl space. They knew that they had moisture issues and wanted to take care of them once and for all. After doing a thorough inspection and consultation and explaining how encapsulation works, they were excited to get the work done. Mary called Guardian Foundation Repair out because she noticed quite a bit of sagging in her floors. She had just bought an old farmhouse and knew that it needed some work. Before she did anything, though, she wanted to make sure that her floors were supported properly.

Kim called Guardian out, and she noticed cracking in her drywall. She was starting to feel some sloping in her floors. Upon inspection, Guardian discovered that Kim had a one-and-a-quarter-inch fall in her house on her main beam. Oftentimes, main beams carry the weight of our roofline as well as load-bearing walls. Most of the time, this is also where people put their heavy home appliances.

Over time, this can cause settlement. Guardian came out to give Kim peace of mind and restore her floors. We set up a self-leveling laser to ensure that we lift each house with great caution and accuracy.

Charlie and his wife, Tina, had purchased a brand-new house. The house had already settled by 3/4 of an inch, and their floors were making popping noises that were getting really annoying. Upon inspection, the spacing on their initial build’s beams was too far apart. Guardian Foundation Repair was able to come in and install supplemental steel support beams to get their floors supported with proper spacing.

Our crew was also able to reach their existing pillars with steel shims instead of wood. Charlie and Tina were thrilled with the results, and we’re willing to give Guardian Foundation Repair a fantastic review on the Better Business Bureau.

Have you started noticing cracking at the corners of your doors? Are your doors having trouble closing all the way? These are signs of settlement that are taking place under your house. Eric noticed these things and called Guardian Foundation Repair out to his home to run a diagnostic.

Upon inspection, Eric had over an inch of settlement, which was causing his main floor to show signs of distress. Guardian Foundation Repair installed our steel beams and steel jacks to lift Eric’s house so that he had correction back in his doors, and his foundation is now being supported properly.

Marc called Guardian Foundation Repair out to inspect his home because he knew that he was having two different problems. One was that he could feel the floor settling as he walked through his home, and the other was that the side of his house took on a lot of water due to the sloping ground.

Guardian was able to show him exactly where in the house the settlement was occurring, what was needed to repair the issue, and how to install a French drain along the side of his home.
