On this day of remembrance, we turn first to God.

September 11th will forever mark a day of heartbreak and sacrifice. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the bravery of first responders who ran toward danger when the world was falling apart. Their courage lit a path forward in the darkness, built on service, unity, and faith.

Prayer carried our nation through that day, and prayer is what we need now more than ever. In moments of loss and tragedy, we are reminded that our hope does not rest in ourselves, but in Him.

Two decades later, we find ourselves again in a world that feels divided and hurting. But the lesson of 9/11 still stands: when we turn our hearts back to God and live with faith at the center, light will always break through the darkness.

At Compass Design Build, we are blessed to work with first responders, veterans, active military, and their families. These are the people who embody that same strength and resilience each day. Their lives remind us to love one another, to choose service over self, and to lean on God when the weight of the world feels heavy.

We pray today for healing, for peace, and for the courage to carry forward the hope that was born even in the ashes of tragedy. May we never forget. 🇺🇸

Inspired by the history of Ojai, this home brings California elegance to the heart of St. Louis.

Every detail in this project was carefully curated to tell a story: French limestone flooring that grounds the space, a Moroccan crocodile bar sink adding an artisan’s touch, and hand-selected aged timbers from Utah that bring a sense of history. These elements, woven together, create a home that is both timeless and entirely unique.

At Compass, every home we create is a reflection of the people who live there—their tastes, their vision, their lifestyle. This house is a perfect example of what happens when thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship come together.

This is just the beginning of the story. In the coming weeks, we’ll take you inside, room by room, to highlight the beauty and detail of this truly custom home.
