Most people enjoy the food. We make sure the kitchen can keep cooking it.

This project had us on-site at PF Chang’s rebuilding and reinforcing a heavily worn wok table. Restaurant equipment takes a beating from constant heat, weight, and daily use, so precision repairs are critical to keeping operations running smoothly.

Using TIG welding, we restored the damaged sections, ensuring clean welds, proper fit-up, and a durable repair built to withstand the demands of a commercial kitchen.

Had a truck driver from Louisiana roll through needing his scissor jack bed fixed hydraulic arm was giving him trouble and wouldn’t lift like it should. We tore into it, repaired the issue, reinforced what needed strengthening, and got that bed going up and down smooth again.

Downtime costs drivers money. When you’re on the road, you don’t have time for equipment that won’t cooperate.

Funny part? After looking at his name on the card… we might be related somewhere down the line. Small world. Louisiana blood runs deep apparently 😂

Bowers Plumbing had a major malfunction on one of their dump trailers , almost every single deck attachment point broke loose. This thing was in bad shape.

We got it in the shop, cut out the failed sections, reinforced the structure, and rebuilt the deck attachment system stronger than factory. 💪

Now it’s back to work and better than new.

That’s what we do at Midwest Metalworks; when it breaks, we fix it right the first time.

We just wrapped up a complete trailer frame overhaul and flooring upgrade for J&A’s Flavored Kitchen, one of Wichita’s most popular food trucks — and the results came out clean and solid.

This job included:
