Progress is taking shape at Hotel Indigo.

With demolition complete, framing is going up and plumbing rough-ins are underway as our crews continue building out the Hotel Indigo interior.

It’s an exciting stage of construction, when plans on paper start becoming rooms, corridors and spaces you can actually walk through.

Stay tuned as Hotel Indigo continues to take shape across the street from the Wichita Biomedical Campus.

A new semester deserves a new view.

Earlier this week, we shared a closer look at the improvements to the main entrance at Butler Community College. Here's the view from above.

While students were enjoying summer break, we were helping Butler Community College get ready for the fall semester with a new look.

Conco Construction recently completed the new entry plaza hardscape, including updated walkways, irrigation, and retaining walls designed to create a more welcoming and functional space for students, faculty, and visitors.

Projects like this are about more than concrete and sitework. They're about creating spaces that connect people, improve functionality, and enhance the daily campus experience.

A new chapter is taking shape in Goddard.

The first major piece of Legacy Bank Park is officially in place as crews completed the concrete pour for the new indoor/outdoor pavilion.

When complete, Legacy Bank Park will feature:
✔️ Destination playground
✔️ Pickleball courts
✔️ Dog park
✔️ Fishing and kayaking opportunities
✔️ Food truck area
✔️ Future amphitheater and more

Before anyone can ride in an elevator, someone has to climb the ladders to build it.

Our masonry crews are three stories up at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, building the elevator shaft for a new building that will connect two existing facilities.

It's demanding work, but it's also work that will give veterans, staff and visitors a safer, easier way to move through this campus for years to come.

You really can do just about anything in work boots.

Before our summer internships wrapped up, we traded the jobsite for the driving range at Topgolf.

It was the perfect way to celebrate a summer of learning, hard work, and a little friendly competition. Today we confirmed that construction boots don’t always improve your golf game… but they definitely don’t stop it either.

Four leaders. One shared commitment to building a better tomorrow.

From left to right: Wayne Winkelbauer, Joe Edwards, Aaron Kaiser, and "Slup" Slupianek.

Between them are decades of leadership, craftsmanship, mentorship, and countless projects that have helped shape Conco Construction.

After 30 years with Conco, Aaron is relocating to Florida with his family and will continue supporting our team in a new role. Congratulations on this exciting new chapter, we're grateful your Conco journey isn't ending, it's simply changing locations.
