With summer right around the corner, now is the perfect time to make sure you're not setting yourself up for costly pavement mistakes!

Here are some of the most common ones we see — and how to avoid them:
❌ Deferred Maintenance: Putting off sealcoating and repairs might seem like a money saver, but the longer damage sits, the more expensive it becomes. Most parking lots should be sealcoated every 3–4 years.
❌ Paving Over Potholes: There's no quick fix when it comes to pavement. Paving over existing potholes without addressing the underlying issue will only make things worse down the road.
❌ Hiring Based on Price Alone: The lowest bid isn't always the best choice. Quality materials, experience, and a proven track record matter far more than the bottom line.
❌ Poor Communication: A trustworthy paving contractor should keep you informed every step of the way, from the initial estimate to project completion.
