Building for those who answer the call.

On August 20, we joined the Wichita Fire Department and City of Wichita leaders to break ground on Fire Station No. 23, Wichita’s first new fire station in 17 years.

Once complete, the station will be home to Engine 23 and a four-person crew serving southwest Wichita around the clock.

We’re grateful for the trust placed in our team to help build a place Wichita’s firefighters can call home. Now, we’re ready to get to work.

The construction fence is up at the future site of the Yuma Street Cultural Center, and we could not be more excited to celebrate this milestone and kick off phase 1 of this truly special project.

The historical renovation of this limestone church will not only preserve its history but will also create opportunities for growth and collaboration well into the future. Phase 1 includes the repair of the limestone shell and roof and demolition of the interior to prepare for the renovation of the future cultural hub.

Being part of projects like this that have so much impact on our community is the best part of what we do. We could not be prouder to partner with the Black Entrepreneurs of the Flint Hills in building the Yuma Street Cultural Center to advance their mission of creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to thrive.

Icon Structures is proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Agronomy Innovation Center at Kansas State University, part of the new L. Eldon Gideon Agronomy Research and Innovation Complex.

The center will support transdisciplinary research in crop production, soil science, and precision agriculture, giving K-State's students, faculty, and industry partners a space built for the next generation of agricultural discovery. From the visualization lab to the farm observation deck, every part of this facility was designed to bring people and ideas together.

This is our second completed project with K-State's College of Agriculture, following last year's Bilbrey Family Event Center, and it's been a privilege to grow alongside a university that's investing so deeply in its future. Days like this one are exactly why we love what we do. Grateful for the partnership and proud to see this space open its doors.

Strong partnerships create lasting impact.

For more than 15 years, Icon Structures has partnered with NewSpring Church through multiple phases of growth. Most recently, our team completed a new administration building along with the renovation and expansion of space for youth worship and fellowship.

Using the Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) delivery method, we worked closely with church leadership and the design team to identify cost-saving opportunities early in the process. Those savings were returned to the church, allowing them to invest additional resources back into their ministry.
That's the value of CMAR: collaboration, transparency, and stewardship from day one.

We're grateful for NewSpring's trust and proud to support their mission for years to come.

One of the best parts of what we do is the people we get to do it with.

Recently, our Wichita team hosted a Field Appreciation Social alongside our Intern Meet & Greet. It was a chance to bring together team members from the field and office, enjoy some food, play a few games, and spend time connecting outside of the jobsite.

Construction is a team sport, and every successful project depends on the people behind it. Events like these remind us how important those relationships are.
