Hutton Together, we exist to build life into team members’ dreams, clients’ visions and community’s future. We do it all.

We're more than builders, we're a team of experts – planners, architects, builders and maintenance all in one house. We serve as a single resource at any point in a client’s facilities journey. However a company may be changing, whether that be new strategic processes, a new building, maintenance for an existing building, or a switch to alternative energy, we're the pros who work it from start to finish and then some.

For 30 years, Gary Garrett has been quietly setting the standard for what it means to run a great project at Hutton. As a superintendent, Gary has led some of Hutton’s best projects with the steady approach, attention to detail and commitment to doing things right that have defined his career. He has never been one to seek the spotlight, but the projects he has built and the people he has worked alongside are a lasting part of his Hutton legacy.

Hutton team members gathered last week to celebrate Gary as he begins his retirement. Join us in congratulating Gary and wishing him all the best in retirement!

As the demand for preventative maintenance, handyman services and other facility projects continues to rise, Hutton Facility Services has continued to meet the needs of clients across the region.

That work now has a new home at 615 W. Maple St. in Wichita, KS. The new location across from Equity Bank Park offers more office space and a much larger shop, while also housing Hutton Energy Services under the same roof.

Located just a few blocks south of Hutton’s headquarters in Delano, the 7,200 SF facility gives Hutton Facility Services more room for its team, materials and equipment as it continues serving clients.

Strong communities create opportunities for people and businesses to thrive. That’s why supporting economic development across Kansas is so important.

This week, Hutton welcomed attendees from across the state to our Wichita headquarters for the pre-conference social ahead of the Kansas Economic Development Alliance’s annual conference. KEDA brings together professionals committed to strengthening and diversifying Kansas communities through collaboration, education and economic development.

We enjoyed connecting with leaders from across Kansas and supporting the work that helps communities grow and build a strong future.

Great design doesn't happen in isolation. It happens around a table, a screen and a sheet of trace paper, again and again, until it's right.

This week, design team members Allyson Wray Kuhn, Priscilla Ruiz and Jon Clotfelter finalized the programming and floorplan for a new healthcare client's facility. Every space, every square foot and every flow path gets tested, questioned and refined before it's locked in.

That work matters beyond the floorplan. The shape and function of the building itself will inform the exterior design Jon starts sketching next, meaning the decisions made in these early sessions shape the entire project from the inside out.

Ideas get sketched by hand, tested on screen and revised again, sometimes several times over, until the design truly fits what our client needs. That's what good design-build looks like: creative minds working together, refining as they go, all in pursuit of the best possible outcome for the people who will use the space.

A new home for two essential Finney County services is complete.

Hutton recently completed construction of the new Finney County Health Department and Finney County EMS facility in Garden City, KS, bringing public health and emergency medical services together in a new 28,000 SF facility designed to serve the community for years to come.

From health screenings and immunizations to emergency response, the new facility gives Finney County’s teams the space and resources they need to serve their community. Hutton worked alongside Finney County and Goldberg Group Architects to bring the project to life.

To see the new building in person, the public is invited to attend their ribbon cutting and dedication event on Friday, September 25th at 9:00am.

A new gathering place has taken shape in downtown Salina, KS.

Hutton recently completed construction on the City Lights Pavilion at the corner of Ash Street and Santa Fe Avenue. The new structure provides shade, lighting and overhead fans for events ranging from the farm & art market to live performances and concerts, while continuing to serve as shaded public parking when events aren't taking place.

The pavilion opened in August, with the Farm & Art Market Downtown becoming the first event to take place under the new structure. We're excited to see how this new space continues to bring people together in downtown Salina.

Congratulations to Erin Coffel, who has been selected for the 32nd Class of Leadership Springdale by the Springdale Chamber of Commerce.

Erin works closely with clients, partners and communities across Northwest Arkansas as part of Hutton’s business development team. Over the coming months, she’ll join a group of local leaders for tours, conversations and hands-on experiences focused on the businesses, schools, government and organizations that make up the Springdale community.

As Hutton continues to grow in Northwest Arkansas, this will be a great opportunity for Erin to deepen her connections and gain a broader perspective on the community she serves.
