Every strong foundation starts with the ground beneath it.

Moving dirt involves much more than clearing space for a building. It means removing unsuitable material, bringing the site to the right elevation, and properly placing and compacting soil to support what comes next.

Proper grading also helps direct water where it needs to go, protecting the site from drainage problems and erosion. Getting this work right helps reduce the risk of settlement, foundation issues, and costly repairs down the road.

At Wilson Contracting, we take pride in this stage of the job because every phase that follows depends on it.

Before the concrete. Before the walls. It starts with the dirt.

Dirt doesn't move itself!

Belly dumps bringing material in, dozer spreading it out, water truck keeping the dust down, and the roller right behind it packing it in. Great crew and great equipment.
