🚨 WICHITA FALLS TREE ALERT 🚨\

Attention homeowners and property managers!

Local hardwood trees,,,
are facing a severe threat from two highly destructive pests: the Emerald Ash Borer and the Twolined Chestnut Borer.

If you have Oaks, Ash, Pecans, or Elms on your property, you need to know what to look for.🍂

Why Red Oaks are hitting the breaking point in Texas:

These borers target trees already stressed out by our brutal summer heat waves, sudden drought swings, compacted urban soils, and storm damage.

🔍 Warning signs to watch out for:
Thinning leaves starting at the very top of the canopy Leaf scorch or premature leaf drop Random sprouts shooting out of the main trunkSubtle, D-shaped exit holes on the bark

🛠️ What actually works? (No "Spray & Pray")

Saving a tree requires more than a quick chemical spray.

Real mitigation means confirming the exact beetle vs. drought issue, fixing root-zone stress with proper aeration and watering, and applying targeted treatments only when the timing is exactly right
Green canopies keep our properties cool and valuable. Let’s protect them!
