It's been a remarkable week. We had the privilege of hosting six senior ladies from the architecture program at the WFISD CTE Center for an immersive day in the life of an architect. Additionally, we cut the ribbon on the new Midwestern State University Student Success and Military Education Center. We're blessed to do what we do, inspiring future architects and sharing our passion for designing a better Wichita Falls.

The dedication of the new Donna Piper Community Center and Eastside Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls was a tribute to people of all walks of life partnering together for the future of young kids in our community. Our firm’s involvement began over seven years ago when we lead the long-range planning effort that determined the need for the new facility. Kudos to the Wichita Falls Housing Authority, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas Government, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, the Eastside neighborhood in general, and the generous patrons who helped fund this exciting new state-of-the-art facility. Principal Ken DowdyAIA, LEED AP, Joel HartmangruberJ AIA and Interior Design Director Terry Lowry lead the team that created this exciting new safe and secure place that many young kids will call another home during a formative time of their young lives. Congratulations to the leadership of Presbyterian Manor Wichita Falls on the dedication of the exciting new social living spaces at this legacy facility on Taft Boulevard. BYSParchitects is honored to work with the Board of Directors and CEO Kris Awtrey on this rewarding project lead by Principal David Hartwell AIA, LEED AP and Interior Design Director Terry Lowry. The new Lobby spaces, Dining Room, Grill, Library and social spaces reflect the themes of openness and natural light coupled with the new Theater, Coffee Shop, Retail Shop and Fountain Lounge.
