Got a call after 10pm last night reporting 2 units were flooding with water levels rising in Gardena. Got our crew out there within the hour only to find the Nextdoor unit had a toilet actively spraying water, flooding that unit, as well as the one next to it. This was a situation that could have been avoided had that toilet not been left in that manner by the person before them. Finished after 1am that night, this is why Ben’s Plumbing and Rooter is open 24/7, in case this happens to you, call us 🤙

Had a report of a huge water leak coming from the water heater, it was leaking from the unit itself and the lines connecting on top. In order to make the repair, we first had to notify all the tenants of an emergency water shut off notice, then disconnect and remove both the washer, the dryer, and the door in order to remove the water heater and install a new one without causing any damages. Never quick, not easy, but we can get it done 💪

Got a call saying a few apartments were all backing up. We got there only to find their clean out was full to the top with small rocks, deliberately put in the drain from somebody else, children most likely. You name it, were seen it!

What was originally thought to have been a callback for stopping a leaky shower, actually turned out to be something different. The shower stem had a series of small screws drilled into it, not by us, and not to code, causing the part to fail and the back washer to be ripped apart, breaking the seal, causing the leak. Not only will we take photos and send them for the owners to see, but we will always be honest about who is at fault for these type of issues. If the tenants are at fault, they will hear about it. Just be responsible and be upfront, otherwise tenants will be charged gueranteed.
