🌿 New Rec Pond in Ann Arbor, Michigan 🌿
We’re excited to share one of our newest recreational swimming ponds, recently completed in Ann Arbor!

Designed to blend naturally into the landscape, this pond gives the homeowners a beautiful place to swim, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. Unlike a traditional swimming pool, it’s built as a living ecosystem, complete with a wetland filtration system that helps keep the water clear and balanced.

Water circulates through layers of rock and gravel, where beneficial bacteria and aquatic plants work together to support natural filtration. Since the project was just completed, the ecosystem is still getting established, and we’ll be watching closely as the plants settle in and the pond continues to mature.

From water clarity and circulation to the overall landscape design, every detail has a purpose. We’re thrilled with how this project came together and can’t wait to see it evolve over the coming weeks!

At 4 feet deep in the center, this pond features an intake bay and a powerful 18,000 GPH pump that feeds an engineered wetland filtration system—keeping the water beautifully clear and inviting.

Picture yourself stepping down into the cool, crystal-clear water, swimming beneath the open sky, then stretching out on the rocks as the sound of moving water fills the air. This isn’t just a backyard upgrade—it’s a one-of-a-kind place to swim, relax, and make lasting memories. We’re proud of this transformation! 💦🪨
