Same house, same angle, same brick. Everything above it is new.

The roof went first: Malarkey Roofing Products Highlander NEX AR over synthetic underlayment, Malarkey RidgeFlex at the hips and ridges, Malarkey Smart Start at the eaves. Ice and water shield at every gutter line and valley.

Then the walls came off. James Hardie 8.25" lap in ColorPlus, with Hardie Panel and Hardie Trim, over new house wrap. We found rot behind the old siding and replaced the sheathing before anything went back up.

New 6" K-style gutters and 3x4 downspouts. Fascia, soffit, porch ceiling, and columns in Arctic White.

This one came to us as a referral. That's still how the best work finds us.

We're proud to share that SPG Roofing & Exteriors has been awarded the Duro-Last Chairman's Award.

Here's what it actually means. This award isn't handed out for volume. Duro-Last measures the workmanship on every commercial roof we install and holds it to some of the strictest inspection standards in the industry. Earning the Chairman's Award means we cleared that bar again and again, on complex commercial buildings, with the details done right whether or not anyone was checking.

16-0. National Champions. That is a season IU fans will talk about forever.

Huge congratulations to Indiana Football on an undefeated run and a College Football Playoff National Championship. The work, grit, and belief from this team were unreal.

At SPG Roofing & Exteriors, we are proud to sponsor Indiana University Athletics and even prouder to be along for the ride in a season like this. Our founder made it to most of the home games, plus the Rose Bowl and the National Championship game, and every stop felt like Hoosier history in the making.

Also, we have to say it: our stadium tagline is “Raise the Roof”, which is hilarious in an outdoor stadium. But after this season, it feels pretty accurate anyway.

Congrats to the players, coaches, staff, and every fan who showed up and brought the noise. Go Hoosiers.
