This home is a mid century modern want-to-be and just needed a few reasonably inexpensive moves to help it shine. By changing the handrails and balustrades and lightening the floor stain, the home became more open, airy and bright.
I used all stock material making the installation process simple and that also keeps the cost down from custom work. The hardwood floor is a common red oak that I applied a Norwegian Sealer and a water based polyurethane finish reinforcing the light and airy feel.

BATHROOM RENOVATION:

The shower is the most important feature of the modern bathroom. It is often what wakes you up in the morning or allows you a moment to relax and reflect before bed. For these reasons, I find it’s essential to design a luxurious shower area. For this larger shower, I used a large porcelain tile to keep the lines clean and modern. I love the pattern in the tile, because it creates texture without making the design look too busy. These clients were so excited to see the progress and enjoyed helping to pick out the tiles, finishes and accessories. To create a relaxing experience, I used a soothing rain shower head, body sprays, a hand held sprayer and a bench to sit on.

DESIGNING YOUR SUMMER OASIS:
If the past year has taught us anything it’s that it’s really important to have comfortable spaces at home, both for work and for play. For this built in pool design, I planted a wall of hydrangea trees to act both as a screening for privacy and a lush backdrop to the spa. Hydrangeas are beautiful in fill bloom & provide a natural, wonderful smell. If you need help recreating this in your yard I’m here to help! Contact me through my ‼️LINK IN BIO

YOUR SUMMER OASIS
If the past year has taught us anything its that it’s really important to have comfortable spaces at home both for work and play. For this built in pool design I planted a wall of hydrangea trees to act both as a screening for privacy and a lush backdrop to the spa with their full blooms and wonderful smell. SPRING FLING After the Daffodils leave out comes the red Tulips. You can plant bulbs that flower at different times in the same planting hole and see them come up at different times in the Spring. Remember to plant and feed them in the fall and know below that Wintery landscape lies a Spring awakening.
