Braving a torrential downpour to begin the setup process on August 14th, a few hardy Master Gardeners got drenched to the bone arranging the table configuration to fit the 2 big tents set up by the County. In the long run, the weather did not matter as on Saturday, August 15th over 30 Master Gardeners at 11 stations and community partners at 17 tables gathered to spread the good news that gardening is for the birds! Even though some of the participants had to meander over saturated ground to view the stations, over 526 participants came to admire the South Park Learning Garden starting as the fog rolled in at 9 AM. As the day progressed, the sun decided to make a brief appearance. (More in the comments)
