Watch Calvin take down this ash tree hanging over the neighbor's fence line. Using a nifty lift for maximum reach and a small wheel loader to shuttle logs and brush out, we kept the footprint small and the work precise. Zero damage to the fence, lawn, or neighboring property!

Did You Know? Open-grown silver maples tend to develop multiple large leaders with wide angles. Because silver maple wood is naturally brittle, those heavy, open-canopy limbs carry a very high risk of splitting under their own weight as the tree matures. Calvin removed two massive silver maples fo a client in Hugo who was worried about the safety of their property.

This front yard silver maple had all the space in the world to spread its canopy, resulting in massive, heavy branches extending over the property.

Open-grown silver maples tend to develop multiple large leaders with wide spread angles. Because silver maple wood is naturally brittle, those heavy, open-canopy limbs carry a very high risk of splitting under their own weight as the tree matures—even without strong storm winds.

Kellen and the team successfully brought down a massive, uprooted boxelder that was lodged high in neighboring trees.

Working in tight wooded areas skill and patience. The guys pieced it down safely with zero impact on the surrounding trees and hand-carried everything out. Great job by the crew!

Calvin removed this maple after it broke
and fell from an easement onto a neighboring fence.
Maples grow fast, but their broad, heavy canopies can
easily become their own worst enemy. As branches
with dense foliage expand outward, the sheer weight
causes them to split and break under their own load,
even on a perfectly calm day.

Swipe through this recent Black Walnut project where our team focused on structure, clearance, and health:
𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:Trimmed back heavy branches growing directly toward the home to prevent roof and gutter damage.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘆: Pruned out crossing branches that were rubbing together—rubbing bark creates open wounds that invite disease and pests.
𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲: Removed one large lead that was crowding and growing straight into a beautiful river birch, opening up light and space for both trees to thrive.
𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Polished up bushes and performed general pruning across the property for a clean, healthy landscape.

Kellen removed a couple ash trees for a client in Centerville. These trees were next to a creek, giving us limited access through the neighbor's property. These are the jobs we depend on our climbers for and they do a great job!
