Here’s a little sneak peek at Richfield’s new Wood Lake Nature Center facility, where our crew has been bringing this nature-inspired space to life alongside our general contracting partner, Mortenson Construction.

Scheduled to open in late November, this 17,000-square-foot facility replaces the original 1970's building with a thoughtful approach to modern, sustainable design. Natural materials take center stage, with glulam beams and dowel-laminated timber (DLT) featured throughout the space.

Built with the environment in mind, the facility incorporates:
- Geothermal heating and cooling.
- Rooftop solar energy.
- A green roof featuring drought-resistant sedum to support stormwater management and thermal performance.
- Abundant natural light to connect the indoors with the surrounding landscape.

Designed to meet Minnesota B3 guidelines and align with the AIA Framework for Design Excellence, this project reflects how intentional design and sustainable building practices can work together to create spaces that serve both people and the planet.

The New Richmond School District has been investing in its schools through renovations and additions district-wide, and we’ve had the pleasure of being part of the transformation at the Middle School.

Working alongside our general contracting partner, Kraus-Anderson, we’ve been involved in this multi-phase project, which includes three new classroom additions, a gym addition, and significant renovations to the existing Middle School. The new classroom additions are now complete and actively being used by students and faculty.

The renovated and expanded Middle School features more natural light, bright colors, and open-concept spaces throughout, creating a more welcoming and functional learning environment. In total, the project includes approximately 200,000 square feet of new and renovated space.

Crafted with excellence has officially arrived on France Avenue in Edina.

Late last year, we shared an exciting project that was just getting underway: The Craftsman on France. Since then, Pinnacle has been proud to work alongside our general contracting partner, Adolfson & Peterson Construction, who will also be calling The Craftsman home as they continue the buildout of their new space.

Pinnacle was also entrusted with completing the new offices for Charles Schwab, partnering with Anderson CC to bring this beautiful space to life.

From thoughtful design to exceptional craftsmanship, we’re proud to see these spaces come together and even prouder to be part of the teams making them happen.

If you’re a Wells Fargo customer, you may have noticed a striking change at your local branch: a noticeably more modern, streamlined environment.

Behind that transformation was a dedicated Pinnacle team that spent 2025 refreshing nearly 100 Wells Fargo branches across Minnesota, with Minneapolis serving as a key rollout market for the bank’s multi-year retail refurbishment program. The effort was part of a broader national initiative that saw Wells Fargo refresh more than half of its entire branch network in 2025.

Throughout 2025, Wells Fargo focused on fundamentally rethinking the in-branch customer experience - closing oversized legacy locations, consolidating offices, and rebuilding prominent community branches around smaller, technology-forward, and more integrated layouts. The result was a new branch model designed to make better use of space while creating a more modern and connected experience for customers.

Ariat has established itself as one of the world’s leading equestrian, outdoor, and workwear brands - and now, shoppers can experience the brand in an entirely new way at its brand-new, soon to open store, at Mall of America - located on the first floor near L.L.Bean.

Working alongside our general contracting partner, Retail Construction Services, Inc., this project gave Pinnacle the opportunity to showcase our new Painting and Commercial Wall Coverings Division. The result is a beautifully finished retail environment filled with unique design details and exceptional craftsmanship.

From bold patterns and textured materials to leather and cowhide wall coverings, every element was carefully selected and installed to create an elevated shopping experience that reflects the Ariat brand.

We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this incredible space to life - and even more excited for Ariat’s team and customers to enjoy it. Here’s a little taste of what shoppers can expect when they step inside.

We were tasked with performing an EIFS repair on one of the spires at the top of the The Lofton Hotel - 24 stories up, and a challenging work environment where access required traveling across a standing seam metal roof, with 100% tie-off required at all times and limited approved and acceptable tie-off points available.

The conversation went something like this:

“Can you complete the repair for us?”
“Yes, we can get this done for you!”

“Can you complete it safely and provide a detailed plan prior to work starting?”
“Absolutely. It’s the only way we’re going to do it.”

Before work began, the access and fall-protection requirements were carefully evaluated, and a plan was developed to safely reach the work area while maintaining continuous fall protection requirements.

The repair was completed successfully and safely using a lifeline rope system securely attached to an approved roof-installed tie-off bollard to provide access to the top of the standing seam metal roof, from a stationary scaffolding platform used as a staging area. Once on the roof, our employee was able to install and utilized an approved standing seam roof anchor in conjunction with a Class 2 leading-edge self-retracting lifeline (SRL) to safely access and perform the required repair on the damaged spire.

This project is a great example of why successful work at heights starts long before the first step onto the roof.

Plan. Prepare. Execute.

When the work environment is challenging, safety cannot be an afterthought - it has to be part of the plan from the beginning.

The first of four activity centers being constructed across all four Rosemount Apple Valley Eagan Public Schools high schools, is nearly ready to take the field and welcome Eastview High School students, coaches, faculty, and the community for the 2026–27 school year.

We’ve been proud to work alongside our general contracting partner, Knutson Construction, to bring this impressive 60,000-square-foot facility to life — an activity center designed to support student athletics, arts, academics, and community programs.

After months of hard work, the finish line is in sight.

You've shopped there, grabbed a bite to eat, and maybe even ridden a few rides there as well. Around Minnesota, it's simply known as the MOA. To the rest of the world, it's recognized as the largest in America and one of the most iconic shopping destinations to be built.

This Throwback Thursday, we're taking a moment to look back at the incredible projects we've had the opportunity to bring to life at the Mall of America - and we're excited to currently be working on the brand-new Ariat store that will open this fall.

Over the years, our team has proudly completed projects for the Culinary on North food court, Sugar Factory, Canada Goose, Samsung, Journeys, H&M, Sweet Paris, Victoria's Secret, PINK, Waterdrop, the Mall of America Management Offices, and many more retail stores and restaurants.

We're grateful to have played a part in shaping one of the country's premier shopping destinations and look forward to what's next.
