I had a great time at the last Tuesday Night Market at Wheeling Town Center of the year! Next year I plan to bring alot more unique fruits and veggies to the table.

This has been a great learning experience and I've felt myself grow substantially as a gardener.

With my first markets out of the way, it's about time to show off the current state of the garden.

A big thank you to everyone who came to see me at my first Farmers Market at the Wheeling Town Center!! It's been a long journey to get here but definitely couldn't have done it alone without the support of my friends and family.

Despite it being a slower day according to the other vendors, I still managed to sell most of my inventory which will only increase in volume and produce offered as more things grow.

You can catch me again in Wheeling for the last 3 events of the year on July 28th, August 11th, and August 25th anywhere between 430-830pm.

I apologize that we've been MIA for a bit. ALOT has happened in the past few months, not only in my personal life but in the Garden as well, which will be shown in upcoming posts.

With that out of the way...it's GARLIC TIME !!!!

I still have a few that wont be ready to harvest until next week, but most of these came out great and were such an easy crop. As a garlic enthusiast myself, my only regret is not planting more. I will not make that mistake next year and plan on atleast 100 bulbs for next year.

Happy Spring everyone!

I'm still keeping of the plants a secret for now, but there is so much life in the garden! Although alot of people view them as weeds, I have an assortment of volunteer Ground Ivy, Violets, Dandelions, and multiple varieties of Clovers giving our native pollinators the bees they need to join me for another great season.

Although this update was pretty small, I'll have a HUGE announcement coming in the very near future!

Hey everyone!

I've been a little slow on the updates recently due to getting sick and doing a bunch of work setting up the garden.

That said, almost all of my plants from last year are waking up like the Lambs Ears, Purple Crocus, and Blueberry bushes I've pictured.

Since we're going to have a over 12 varieties of tomatoes, 15 varieties of peppers, and a lot of other fun stuff, I've tilled most of the perimeter of my yard to prepare for them.

As there is a lot of stuff that has happened since the last update don't forget to look through the pictures!

Just a few hours ago Bandit helped me till and setup the early spring garden.

So far we've planted:

Green Beans
Fava Beans
Radishes
Red Poppies
Beets
Blue Cornflowers &
Dill (For some Black Swallowtail Butterflies I've been overwintering)

While almost all of the strawberries that overwintered outside have come back to life, my hydroponic strawberries are absolutely thriving. Based on the flower set I may have strawberries by early April if I'm lucky.

March is here already and you know what that means....seed starting time!

Since I have a greenhouse this year I'm able to start my tomato and pepper seeds a little earlier. Thanks to owning better equipment and learning from last year's mistakes, germination rates are above 80% and almost every cell has life in it.
