The engineered quartz you have throughout your home? While those materials can perform beautifully indoors, outdoor environments are a completely different challenge.
In the Midwest, outdoor surfaces are subjected to relentless UV exposure, extreme temperature swings, freeze/thaw cycles, rain, snow, humidity, pollen, organic debris, and everyday cooking activity. Over time, certain materials can discolor, fade, etch, stain, crack, or simply fail to perform the way they were intended.
That's why granite remains one of our top recommendations for outdoor applications.
