It's always so fun and exciting seeing a designer's vision come to life, especially when every detail feels like it was all made to belong together. The stone is just one part of that vision, but when thoughtfully selected and fabricated, it has a way of bringing the entire space into perfect harmony. I mean, just look at that island 😍

We had the pleasure of visiting this stunning completed kitchen yesterday, designed by Monika Ross of Monika and built by Chuck Stevens. Our whole team couldn't be happier with how beautifully everything came together. The Everleigh quartz countertops by Cambria are show-stopping!!

Congratulations to Monika on another absolutely beautiful space. Your friends at DTK are so grateful to have played a part in bringing this vision to life.

What a fun couple of days at Build My Future Southeast Wisconsin!!

We had a wonderful time introducing the next generation of builders, designers, and skilled tradespeople to the world of custom stone fabrication. It was awesome seeing so much curiosity and enthusiasm from the students who stopped by our booth! And of course, we had to provide them with a little treat for making their way over 🍭🍬

Events like these are such an important reminder of why investing in the next generation of skilled trades matters. Even just a quick run-down of what a day at DTK looks like for a member of our team had them enthralled. They couldn't believe the kind of machinery we work with and the level of technical know-how that goes into choosing / fabricating stone (of all types!)

We’re grateful to have been part of an experience that encourages young people to explore the possibilities of a career working with both their hands and minds 🧠

Thank you to Build My Future Southeast Wisconsin and the Racine Kenosha Builders Association for having us, and to all the students who made these two days so memorable!

Your jaw can't help but drop at the beauty of this kitchen. Behind stunning spaces like this is an entire community of people working together to bring a vision to life.

Tom Bradshaw of Bean & Bear brought an incredible level of creativity and intention to the entire project, thoughtfully specifying details and making design decisions throughout the home to create spaces that all felt beautifully considered, from one room to the next.

In the kitchen, Taj Duna Quartz by Viatera complements that artistic vision with a warm, polished surface that accented the stunning cabinetry in all the best ways. (I mean, that green hue alone is just astonishing!)

Congratulations to Tom on a spectacular project. We at DTK are so grateful to see our stonework become part of a home where details and timeless beauty take center stage.

Adding a crown to this kingly fireplace. 👑

A quick but close look at this Breche de Versailles Honed Marble fireplace reveals just how much is going on in the details. Individual full bullnose pieces installed close together create those fluted, textural details + the mitered edges and cove detailing come together to round out all of that depth and dimension.

The final touch is a marble crown worthy of the rest of it!

This fireplace is shaping up to be an absolute showstopper, especially once the antiqued mirror surround is installed 😍

We love the material choices in this kitchen, built by Homes by James. A soft grey, concrete-base Caesarstone Quartz wraps the perimeter, while polished quartzite takes center stage on the island. The contrast is subtle, but gives the space so much more dimension!

The fabrication deserves a closer look, too. The perimeter includes a custom stone sink fabricated from the quartz itself, creating a continuous transition from countertop to basin. On the island, the polished quartzite is finished with a mitered edge that is soft yet substantial & stunning 😌

Expert craftsmanship by every person involved in this project created an unforgettable, warm, reserved, luxurious kitchen space. The subtle details ensured it will look just as good years down the line.
