ROOF REPLACEMENT. Our team executed a full roof replacement, removing 27 squares of asphalt shingles from the house and garage. The process included replacing 39 sheets of plywood roof decking and 300 linear feet of Azek fascia and rake boards. Following decking replacement, we thoroughly renailed the entire roof deck to provide a solid nailing surface. Due to the roof's low slope, we applied GAF Stormguard Ice & Water Shield across the entire deck, followed by the installation of new aluminum drip edges. GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in the color Shakewood were then installed. The project was finalized with the installation of ridge vents and caps, new lead flashing around the chimney, new pipe boots on the pipes and the addition of 20 new 3" aluminum soffit vents to ensure proper ventilation.
