Scott Springer Architect PLLC is an award-winning architecture practice located in Westport, Connecticut. A graduate of The Cooper Union School of Architecture, Scott Springer, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is an accomplished architect with extensive residential and commercial experience on a variety of notable projects in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. Before establishing
his practice, he was a principal in two New York based international design firms. Scott’s diverse project list ranges from meticulous New York City Apartment renovations to 5-star hotels to 10 million square foot complex international commercial developments. The son of an architect, Scott is renowned for his knowledge of architectural history and is often called an architect’s architect. His ability to work comfortably in traditional and contemporary design vocabularies allows him to create design concepts that suit each client’s unique vision. Scott’s work has won numerous awards including three MIPIM awards and the AIA Washington Chapter Award of Excellence for Extraordinary Achievement in Architecture. He is the recipient of a Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Award (1998) and an Arnold W. Brunner Grant (1999), both awarded by the New York Chapter of the American of Institute of Architects. Scott is a licensed architect in New York, Connecticut, Maryland, South Carolina, and Florida; and a LEED accredited professional. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council, the Institute for Classical Architecture and Art, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
