Our company recently hosted a gathering for employees and their families at the PAC Mid-West Rodeo in Crawfordsville on Saturday night. Despite experiencing rain on two occasions, it didn’t dampen our party. The rodeo and fireworks display were outstanding. We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our team members and feel fortunate to have such a group. Although not everyone could attend, it was a wonderful opportunity to come together.

On this Saturday morning, we received a call for no water. Cheesman Inc. is a locally owned and operated well pump service contractor since 1940. Serving the greater Lafayette area and surrounding counties. All our service techs carry an Indiana well Pump installer's license. Today we replaced a 27-year-old well pump. As always, the credit goes to our great crews and customers that trust us with their well water needs.

We were finaly able to catch some dry conditions. This site had some challenging soils. Cheesman inc along with a soil analist designed a system suitsble for the site. Each site presents different challengs. A Presby elevated sand mound system was chosen. Also this site required a permitter drain tile around the sand system at a depth of 24”-32”. Due to a high ground water table
This is to remove the groundwater to keep the area of the septic drainage dry. This system also contained a 1,000 gal septic holding tank. And a 1,000 gallon pumping tank. A lift pump was required to pump the septic water to the elevated sand mount.
Septic systems in Indiana are designed by number of bedrooms and soil testing.
Not every septic is the same.
