Homeowner noticed a hole developing in their front yard. Discovered to be septic tank collapsing. Being an actively in-use septic tank, crews had to coordinate removal and install with limited disruption. This system is specific to this neighborhood. It is actually shared by two homes and is a two compartment tank with a pump in one end of it. Thanks guys for the job well done.

Cheesman Inc well service crew Got a call for no water. Found pinched wires in well casing. Pump checks ok. Replace wire and add a little more protection.
Business is back up and running.

Crews Working at a new home site today. Installing Grundfos constant pressure well pump system and a Presby sand line septic system.
I don’t think that’s how the well tank goes sir…..🤔🤪🤣

Cheesman inc. crews Starting on new home site today. It all starts with a stone driveway to access the new home.
Disclaimer this is not a final graded product!!! This is roughly constructed at this time. After completion of home. We will final grade and top coat the drive with fresh stone. This is the first step on this site. Cheesman inc will install water well and pump system, septic system and rough grade backfill around the finished home.

Earlier this week. Cheesman inc. Received a service call for half or “Dim” electrical power in residence. Cheesman inc Electrical crews arrived and diagnosed a bad underground wire feeding the home. The distance between main disconnect to home was about 300 feet. Our crews used fault locating equipment to find the damaged spot. Repairs were made and power restored. Once again thank you to our customers trusting in us, and our very talented employees.

Pictures of a backed up 4” sump pump drain line. Trouble spot was located by Cheesman inc crews. Excavated and repaired. Tree roots can be problematic for drains. They can start in one little opening and then grown and expand rapidly once inside. Causing major trouble.

Our company recently hosted a gathering for employees and their families at the PAC Mid-West Rodeo in Crawfordsville on Saturday night. Despite experiencing rain on two occasions, it didn’t dampen our party. The rodeo and fireworks display were outstanding. We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our team members and feel fortunate to have such a group. Although not everyone could attend, it was a wonderful opportunity to come together.

On this Saturday morning, we received a call for no water. Cheesman Inc. is a locally owned and operated well pump service contractor since 1940. Serving the greater Lafayette area and surrounding counties. All our service techs carry an Indiana well Pump installer's license. Today we replaced a 27-year-old well pump. As always, the credit goes to our great crews and customers that trust us with their well water needs.

We were finaly able to catch some dry conditions. This site had some challenging soils. Cheesman inc along with a soil analist designed a system suitsble for the site. Each site presents different challengs. A Presby elevated sand mound system was chosen. Also this site required a permitter drain tile around the sand system at a depth of 24”-32”. Due to a high ground water table
This is to remove the groundwater to keep the area of the septic drainage dry. This system also contained a 1,000 gal septic holding tank. And a 1,000 gallon pumping tank. A lift pump was required to pump the septic water to the elevated sand mount.
Septic systems in Indiana are designed by number of bedrooms and soil testing.
Not every septic is the same.
