We recently took our summer interns—along with several of our team members—out of the office and right into the action for a behind-the-scenes tour of our project site at O’Hare International Airport!
At K-Five, we believe the best way to learn is to see the scale of our work firsthand. Our team had a great time showing the next generation of industry professionals exactly what goes into managing and executing complex airport infrastructure.

Beep beep! 🚜🚚 This past weekend was our Second Annual Employee Family Touch-a-Truck event, and it’s safe to say a fantastic time was had by all!

There is nothing quite like watching our families explore the big rigs up close. A massive thank you to everyone who made this day so special:
hodgkins for being such incredible hosts and providing the perfect backdrop.

Our amazing Shop Team, who worked hard behind the scenes to safely bring out 12 awesome pieces of construction equipment for the kids (and kids at heart!) to explore.

We love our K-Five family and are already looking forward to next year!

Heavy lifting and precision engineering at its finest! 🏗️

Check out this incredible footage captured by our own Joe Caufield, showcasing the seamless installation of a tollway precast control building. Watching these massive structures lock into place like giant Lego blocks never gets old.

Shoutout to the incredible crew on-site making tough maneuvers look easy. Safety, precision, and teamwork all in a day’s work at K-Five.

Our summer interns took a break from the office to get some boots-on-the-ground experience at one of our active railroad jobsites!

At K-Five, we believe the best way to learn heavy highway and civil construction is to see it, hear it, and experience it firsthand. Our team showed them the ropes, walked them through the complexities of railway logistics, and shared what it takes to keep these massive projects moving safely and efficiently.
