Closed cell spray foam is the only way to go in metal buildings to prevent condensation, add rigidity, and prevent air intrusion. This is especially true in irregular buildings like this Quonset hut where no other type of insulation will work effectively.

Before and after of exposed basement walls. Not only is closed cell foam an excellent insulation, it's also a vapor, air, and moisture barrier, making it an excellent option for basements and crawlspaces.

Advanced Spray Foam and Coatings , a Carroll county insulation company owned by Carlos and Mimi Perez, is proud to announce the hiring of a 2014 Carroll Community College graduate. Tony Perez, who graduated with an AA in Business Administration, also happens to be their only son. In addition, he brings his experience as the nation's youngest Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified energy auditor.

The entire family is excited to be expanding their business into a larger multigenerational enterprise. Tony notes, " I'm looking forward to contributing to the success of the insulation business that my family has worked so hard to build. I'll be able to apply what I learned at Carroll and my BPI certification to grow our company."

Carlos adds, "I built this company with the intention of providing for my family and creating opportunity for my son in the future.
